This English version of the Privacy Policy is provided for reference purposes only. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between the Japanese version and the English version, the Japanese version shall prevail.

EyeEyeNet LLC ("we," "us," or "our") has established this Privacy Policy ("Policy") to explain how we collect, use, and protect the personal information of users ("Users") who use our services, applications, and websites (collectively, the "Services").

Article 1. User Information and Personal Information
"User Information" refers to information relating to Users of the Services.
"Personal Information" means information as defined under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan (APPI). It includes information relating to a living individual that can identify a specific person by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, or other descriptions contained in such information. It also includes biometric data, such as facial features, fingerprints, voiceprints, and other information that can identify a specific individual by itself, including identification numbers on health insurance cards and similar identifiers.

Article 2. Acceptance of This Privacy Policy
By using the Services, Users agree to this Privacy Policy and any future amendments to it.

Article 3. Information We Collect
When you use the Services, we may ask you to provide personal information such as your name, telephone number, and email address.
We may also collect information relating to your transactions, including personal information, from our business partners, such as information providers, advertisers, advertising distributors, and other affiliated parties (collectively, "Business Partners").

Article 4. Purpose of Use of User Information
We use the User Information we collect for the following purposes:
(1)To register Users, verify their identity, and provide, maintain, protect, and improve the Services.
(2)To provide information regarding the Services, including updates, events, campaigns, and changes to our terms and policies.
(3)To respond to inquiries and provide support regarding the Services.
(4)To investigate and respond to violations of our terms and conditions relating to the Services.
(5)To compile statistical data regarding the use of the Services.
(6)To plan, develop, and implement future improvements and features for the Services.
(7)To authenticate Users when they access the Services.
(8)To analyze registration information and usage data in order to provide content and advertisements supplied by third parties that are more relevant and useful to Users.
(9)To monitor the delivery of advertisements, measure their effectiveness, and provide behavior-based targeted advertising.
(10)To provide certain information to our advertising partners ("Advertising Partners"). Any information provided will not include data that directly identifies an individual and will be used only in connection with their advertising services.
(11)To deliver or display advertisements provided by us or third parties.
(12)To conduct marketing activities.
(13)For purposes incidental or related to the purposes described above.

Article 5. Disclosure of Information to Third Parties
1. We will not provide Personal Information to any third party without the prior consent of the User, except in the following cases or as otherwise permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan (APPI) or other applicable laws and regulations:
(1)Where the User has given consent.
(2)Where disclosure is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of an individual, and obtaining the User's consent is difficult.
(3)Where disclosure is particularly necessary for the improvement of public health or the promotion of the sound development of children, and obtaining the User's consent is difficult.
(4)Where disclosure is necessary to cooperate with a national or local government authority, or a party acting on its behalf, in carrying out duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the User's consent may impede the performance of such duties.
(5)Where we have notified or publicly announced the following matters in advance and have filed the required notification with the Personal Information Protection Commission:
・The purpose of use includes disclosure to third parties.
・The categories of data to be disclosed.
・The means or methods of disclosure.
・The procedure by which the User may request suspension of such disclosure.
・The method for submitting such requests.
(6)Where the handling of Personal Information is outsourced, in whole or in part, to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use.
(7)Where Personal Information is transferred as part of a business succession resulting from a merger, company split, business transfer, or any similar transaction.
(8)Where otherwise permitted under the APPI or other applicable laws and regulations.

2. We may provide User Information that does not constitute Personal Information to third parties in the following cases:
(1)To business partners or service providers for purposes such as data analysis, customer support, or providing services requested by Users.
(2)To third parties that provide functions or services on our behalf in order to operate and enhance the Services.
(3)To advertising service providers for the purpose of delivering advertisements tailored to Users' interests and preferences.

Article 6. Shared Use of Personal Information
To provide the Services, we may share Users' Personal Information with our business partners.
In such cases, we will publicly disclose the purpose of the shared use, the scope of the Personal Information to be shared, and the parties with whom such information will be shared, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Article 7. Security of Personal Information
We strive to keep Personal Information accurate and up to date to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes for which it is used.
We implement appropriate information security measures, including safeguards against unauthorized access, computer viruses, loss, destruction, alteration, and leakage of Personal Information.

Article 8. Disclosure, Correction, and Suspension of Use of Personal Information
1.If a User requests the disclosure of their Personal Information in accordance with the APPI, we will disclose such information without undue delay, provided that we are legally required to do so and have verified that the request has been made by the User.
A handling fee of JPY 5,000 will be charged for each request for disclosure.
2.If a User believes that the Personal Information we hold about them is inaccurate, they may request that we correct, add to, or delete such information ("Correction, etc.") in accordance with our prescribed procedures.
If we determine that such a request is justified, we will make the requested Correction, etc. without undue delay.
We will promptly notify the User whether we have made the requested correction or decided not to do so.
3.If a User requests that we suspend the use of or delete their Personal Information ("Suspension of Use, etc.") on the grounds that it has been handled beyond the scope of the stated purposes of use or obtained through improper means, we will promptly conduct the necessary investigation.
If, based on the results of the investigation, we determine that the request is justified, we will suspend the use of or delete the relevant Personal Information without undue delay.
We will promptly notify the User whether we have complied with the request or decided not to do so.
4.Notwithstanding the foregoing, if suspension of use or deletion would require excessive cost or would otherwise be difficult to implement, we may take alternative measures where necessary to protect the rights and interests of the User.
5.We may refuse a request described above in any of the following circumstances:
(1)Where disclosure or other action may harm the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the User or a third party.
(2)Where complying with the request may seriously interfere with the proper operation of our business.
(3)Where complying with the request would violate applicable laws or regulations.
(4)Where we are unable to verify that the request has been made by the User.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, we generally do not disclose information that does not constitute Personal Information, such as usage history or device-related information.

Article 9. Cookies
1. We and our advertising partners may use cookies by sending them to the User's web browser through the Services.
2. Users may disable or reject cookies by changing their browser settings. Please note that if cookies are disabled or rejected, some features of the Services may not function properly.
3. If a User's browser is configured to accept cookies, our advertising partners may collect cookie information, including browsing history related to the Services, and may display our advertisements through their advertising platforms.
4. Advertising partners may use cookies, access data, our identifiers, and User attributes to deliver advertisements tailored to Users' interests and preferences.
5. Cookie information collected by our advertising partners will be handled in accordance with the respective privacy policies of those advertising partners.

Article 10. Links
The Services may contain links to websites operated by third parties.
If such third-party websites collect User Information, this Privacy Policy does not apply to those websites. We assume no responsibility or liability for the collection, use, or handling of User Information by such third parties.

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time without prior notice to Users, except where otherwise required by applicable laws or expressly provided in this Policy.
Unless otherwise specified by us, any revised Privacy Policy shall become effective upon its publication on this website.
